I have so many headcanons for a ghost!Tadashi AU some sad but most just silly.

Like, Tadashi first coming back during the funeral and he’s like what????? The hell????? Is this??? What is this. Fred are you playing another joke on me.

And then once he realizes he’s dead, Tadashi takes a moment to beat himself up. “Stupid. Who goes into a burning building??? Now Hiro is all alone.”

And sure it’s at first a huge bummer watching Hiro mope around the house, and it is sad (but also kind of gratifying) seeing his friends mourn him, but eventually Tadashi is just done w Hiro’s shit. “Oh my god Hiro, would you get out of the goddamn beanie bag and into the shower??? And EAT something holy cow. This won’t bring me back and frankly you smell.”

And then when Baymax comes along Tadashi does a little floating victory dance bc his knucklehead of a brother has FINALLY started living his life again.

And then cue the plot of the movie. Also cue a Tadashi freak out.

“NO HIRO THIS IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT I WANTED. DO NOT BECOME A VIGILANTE. NO NO- WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO BAYMAX???? HIRO U R LUCKY IM NOT TANGIBLE OR ELSE I WOULD NOOGIE YOU SO HARD.”

Also Tadashi doesn’t move on but he does accept that he’s dead and his unfinished business is just watching over Hiro so yeah.
He sticks around.

(And like maybe later BH6 is fighting a villain who raises the dead?? Or something like that and Tadashi is finally seen by Hiro + co and it’s very tearful and happy and idk maybe Tadashi sticks around as being seen or maybe he goes to travel the world idk
