What if Abigail Callaghan’s consciousness/soul was left wandering around in a sort of afterlife during the time that she was asleep.

Imagine her meeting Tadashi Hamada in that afterlife-like space. And then they spend time together and sort of bond (shippy or not). They tell each other about their lives. Abigail shares about what happened with the accident… or at least what she remembers of it.

Suddenly, Abigail is just sort of surrounded by a bright light and she’s being pulled out of that space. She’s confused and afraid tries to reach out to Tadashi. But, Tadashi just smiles at her because somehow he just knows she’s going back to the real world. And, for some reason he knows it’s because of Hiro.

Before she completely disappears Tadashi just tells her, “If you meet my little brother, tell him you’re just the first. And he’s going to help a lot more people someday.”

Then she wakes up… in the hospital. Vaguely remembering that weird dream she had. Suddenly she is told the group that saved her were visiting.

She saw Hiro and he looks somewhat like the guy in her dream.

“Hey! Thank you for saving me. You helped me and my dad a lot. I’m just the first and I know you’re going to help a lot more people someday.”

And Hiro just starts crying. He doesn’t know why. He thinks he saw Tadashi sitting beside Abigail’s bed.

then hiro gets closure the end i dunno my train of thought went poof. i was going somewhere with this. i had a point.
